Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) Course

The ALSO® course is an evidence-based, interprofessional, and multidisciplinary training program designed to equip the entire maternity care team with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage obstetric emergencies.

This comprehensive course promotes a standardized, team-based approach among physicians, residents, certified nurse midwives, registered nurses, and other maternity care professionals to enhance patient safety and improve maternal outcomes.

• 8 hours of prerequisite online learning (required prior to attendance)

Once you receive a confirmation email indicating your enrollment in the course:

• $300 cancellation fee if cancellation occurs within 60 days of the event
• $350 cancellation fee if cancellation occurs within 30 days of the event
• Registration fee is non-refundable if cancellation is received less than 30 days before the course

By completing and submitting the registration form (for yourself or a staff member), you acknowledge and agree to this policy. This policy applies to all registrants, including CSMC internal participants. No exceptions will be made.

The Simulation Center is located on the Street Level of the Pavilion building. We recommend parking in Pavilion Lot (HERE). Parking will be validated.
